Stream trout fishing Times

Remember the good old days fishing for the trout stream. No matter how old we always seem to think what we believe is the good old days. I remember while fly fishing in the river Pentwater Michigan in the late autumn of hooking a trout in a weathervane, and more or less landed. I say more or less the landing, because when I had first-hand and could see it was so beautiful that I could not kill him. It was about 21 inches long and a beautifulnative brown with bright orange spots and all the other colors of a beautiful brown native. I worked up the shallow water and with my long nose pliers and gently remove the hook and let it swim away reached. I forgot to mention that when I fly fish, which can crimp feathers down so I share a fish very easily.

I remember years ago they used rainbows in various plant streams. I was fishing the Au Sable River just below a dam that I called Bamfield Dam, North WestGlennie Michigan. This river is large enough in this area, but no rain during this hot summer would dam near the gates and allow the flow of water through little. As the water dropped to almost nothing, leave large pool and down the field. Each pool all to see what I could, was the rainbows rising to the flies were on the tailgate river. Wherever I would cast, I hook a small rainbow trout and then share. I am dependent on so many that after awhile my arm was tired and I threw down my back and touch the water is coming after me. Sometimes it happens that if there were so many fish taking the fly behind me. I was young then and then and seemed very funny.

My son Denny and I did a little 'spring trout fishing on the Au Gres River north of M55 opening day of trout season a year ago. We've got to fish in the river, and about two or three hundred meters upstream of a gentleman was toFishing for Steelhead. It had been there for several hours and had nothing done. Denny said he was ready to give up and says, you give it a try. It 'been a good race, quite deep, with some obstacle for him. I learned that Denny in deep holes where you have to adapt to the fund's head suspended or steel that will not catch anything. You lose a few calls, but this is the only way to catch the fish.

At the time we were with the peace process in the Middle East and Spinners had just changeda silver blade with a black tail can not be bothered to blade with a black tail, because Denny had simply lost silver spinner MEPP. On his first cast he tied in a nice Steelhead. After landing, he made for other items and "Bam" was another way. I watched the guy fishing was this hole and carefully folded his tail and went away without saying a word.

These are some of what I remember, and there are many others. I know you have many happy memoriesbrook trout from the past.
