Fishing Current River Missouri Ozarks

There is no doubt that the current Missouri River is the most power in different style of spring will start a stream brook trout, and slowly transforms into one of the best black bass streams in the nation. Hollow between Parker and Cedar Grove have enough trout, but can be difficult to wade, and the numbers of fish are not particularly high. Lures and flies onlyallowed, and there will be a limit to the length restriction.

The eight miles between Cedar Grove and Akers Ferry is managed as a trout fishing pond. It 'hard to rainbow trout between March and September. In the four miles between Cedar Grove and Spring Welch, the best trout in spring and autumn are, as it is the only time trout. Between this point and Doniphan Missouri has some of the best smallmouth waters in the state. Fish in the 1-3 pound range and plenty of big fish are not unusual. Rock Bass and Bluegill can be found in large numbers. Around Van Buren, Zander enter the scene.
