Preparing for the ice!

Ice Anyone? No, not in your drink, fishing that is! I put away my flight jacket and shorts summer favorite for another year. This is a moment I almost shed a tear or two, because I ended up fishing in open water here in Alberta know. I'm going to dig now have winter boots that are collecting dust, and try and find a winter parka that hidden somewhere or other. Now we have our spider trade, and called flying equipment for the plastic tip-up equipment. Here, in aProvince, where the winter is almost half of our fishing season, we need an ice relatively quickly compared to some states and provinces to prepare. This preparation is a word I know only too well after painful days, cold hands and feet cold for hours.

What makes a man / woman really need when they venture on a frozen lake? Here are some of the things I agree with me if you scratch that itch fishing. Let's say you go to the rightthe lake and parking within ten feet of the hole we are drilling.

Clothing

Clothing will be the most important part of your list, as we all want to stay warm and dry as you take a day on the ice. Gloves made of neoprene or fleece is essential to warm your hands while swinging or roll the trophy from the depths of the lake. Keep your hands warm and dry early and go from packaging to take home. Hat that covers theentire head, face and skin is my favorite. Material with acrylic and Dacron, which he designed to keep your skin is dry and pleasant, what I use when ice fishing. Lingerie is highly recommended as an appropriate long underwear and long sleeve T-shirt. I use a full snow suit when ice fishing, snow suits very cheap and offer maximum protection against cold and wind. Boots that are lined with heavy work best looking boots that are designed to below -20 degrees CelsiusC. Remember, you are on a sheet of ice and feet suffer if you do not have appropriate footwear.

The Tackle

Ice fishing is very different from that of deep-sea fishing and therefore requires a different fish rod.I know people have a difficult time with separation of the money, but these bars are quite expensive and better suited to the situation of fisheries. Like many fishermen, we have seen with the old fishing pole multi-species that have owned since the early eighties?Although these auctions can still fish, you are at a disadvantage in terms of sensitivity, action and reaction. The new graphite rods of high quality will overtake that old cow every day. Ice fishing is like fresh water fishing, where a fisherman needs several bars and rollers of various fish species and different applications. Monofilament line should be considered not to cut the summer cold. There arespecial lines available that are designed for fishing in cold weather. These new lines retain their elasticity at low temperatures and does not roll up as bad as regular mono is coming winter.
